Since it’s opening in the mid-19th century, the Alma Lodge Hotel has been the venue of choice to the Stockport community and beyond.

Our banqueting suites are full of character, with lots of natural daylight and original features.

Funeral Reception

We have hosted many funeral gatherings over the years so are experienced in providing a smooth, organised service to help you celebrate your loved ones life. We can cater for enquiries of 10 to 250 people.

Our large free car park means parking will not be a worry on the day and if you are using Stockport Crematorium guests can leave their cars with us and walk to the service from the hotel.

We also have bedrooms so if you have family or friends travelling to pay their respects they can stay with us and on discounted rates.

Parties and Events

We have 3 function rooms, all recently refurbished in 2024, that each cater for different sized events so whether you have 30 people or 250 people, we are the venue for you! We have plenty of on site complimentary parking. Any guests wanting to stay over will benefit from reduced bed and breakfast rates as well. Whether its a birthday or anniversary party, an association luncheon, charity event or engagement party. Whatever the event we would love to help you organise and celebrate it.
